We like to stay active in the community and hope you do too. This month several events will be going on around town. We would like to help keep you informed should you not know some of the resources available to you for learning more about happenings in the community. Did you know there is an interactive calendar of events on GVNews.com? If you haven’t already, check it out at http://www.gvnews.com/calendar/.
We are particularly excited about the following events coming up this month:
Tucson Audubon’s Green Valley Living with Nature Series Presents hosted by the Joyner Green Valley Librart where naturalist Vince Pinto will guide you through a tour examining the natural wildlife in our area including bugs, spiders, and other creatures and how they interact with us! This will be the first in many events in the series and should be an awesome event. You can read more about the event by clicking here.
Green Valley Village will also be hosting the first annual chili cook off on the 20th. Taste chili for charity at this fun and spicy event. Fire trucks will be brought on location for children so bring the whole family. All proceeds and donations will benefit charities in our community so help show support and get a nice fill of some delicious food. To read more about this event, click here.
