Southwestern Solar specializes in the design, installation and maintenance of turnkey, solar PV (photovoltaic) solar power systems. Southwestern Solar is a subsidiary of Green Valley Cooling and Heating. Our parent company has been serving southern Arizona for 41 years. We strive to provide a level of service that exceeds our customers expectations. Southwestern Solar is made up of a team of professionals who have received extensive training in the industry. Ethan Beneze – Founder, President
Ethan has been working with solar systems for the past 25 years. He actively worked on the design of solar projects in southern Arizona and holds a degree in Architecture from the University of Arizona. He has designed and installed stand alone photovoltaic systems in the marine industry. He has over 20 years of business background and is a licensed contractor in Arizona. He holds a K-11 Residential and Commercial Electrical, a C-39 Residential HVAC and an L-39 Commercial HVAC contractor's license. He has a strong commitment to the solar industry and has implemented and tested solar systems at his southern Arizona home.
Michael Bartoletti – Solar System Designer & VP of Operations NABCEP Certified PV Installer™
Mike has a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Arizona and has worked for Southwestern Solar's parent company for the past 25 years. He has taken the lead in solving complex electrical problems and is responsible for team member training. Mike has designed and installed systems at his Green Valley home and has been actively working on solar system design and installations. He holds certificates in system installation and advanced solar system design and installation. He has received training in both grid-tied and off grid solar systems.
David De La Rosa - Solar Sales Consultant
David has been in the HVAC industry for almost 20 years and has been a Senior HVAC supervisor at Green Valley Cooling and Heating for over 5 years. For the past 3 years, Dave was our Senior Solar Installation Technician, performing exemplary commercial and residential applications. In January, Dave became our Solar Sales Consultant. Applying his extensive training, education and years of knowledge to our customer base has helped develop sales opportunities while educating the consumer.
Jason Abbott – Senior Solar Installation Technician
Jason has been with Green Valley Cooling & Heating for over 5 years. He has been working in our Southwestern Solar division for 3. He has performed various installs in both commercial and residential applications. Jason has an impeccable work ethic and is dedicated to providing the customer with both aesthetically pleasing systems that operate to peak performance. He has received extensive training and certifications in both grid-tied and off grid-tied solar systems. Jason has applied his knowledge and mechanical skills to successfully install solar systems in the residential and commercial arena.
